It is my pleasure to welcome you to the Kajonkiet International School, Phuket website.
One of the first impressions a visitor to KIS gains, I am sure, is the spectacular environment our students share on a daily basis. Our lush, landscaped grounds and the sound of water, all embellished by creative architectural statements provides a welcoming and calming canvas on which KIS students confidently make their mark.

It is true, that environment influences us significantly: our performance, progress and achievement, our state of mind and our self esteem are all positively impacted by the right sort of environment. At KIS classrooms are dynamic places. Whether exploring and developing new skills and experiences, or refining and extending existing passions, students have plentiful opportunity to engage, investigate and to excel in supportive, friendly, challenging and creative learning arenas.

Community, too, is important to us, both within the school and beyond. Students share the school space seamlessly. I often marvel at the empathy, and consideration extended by KIS students towards each other, across the full age range. Informally at break times, through the House system or many other occasions, students collaborate with and support each other, celebrating in the achievements of their peers whatever the field. Students, staff and our supportive parent body work in partnership to promote the KIS shared values.
