KIS holds Initial Accreditation Status as awarded by the Accrediting Commission for Schools, Western Association of Schools and Colleges (ACS WASC).
WASC is a globally recognised accrediting body that works with schools to ensure rigorous standards for educational quality and ongoing development are achieved and sustained.
With over 5,200 schools accredited by WASC, this achievement illustrates our school’s commitment to providing high-quality education and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
On receipt of the award we were advised that KIS was among a select few international schools to receive Initial Accreditation upon the first visit. Whilst we are understandably proud of this achievement, we also recognise that it is essential we continue to work to improve across all areas of operations. We remain committed to this.
The challenging WASC accreditation cycle provides a framework for continuous review and evaluation, informing direction for development and improvement, so ensuring that KIS continues to strive to be the best school it can be.
